Overview
The EnenKio government has representatives in several countries and is in need of more people to assist expansion of its international relations program and help develop beneficial trade and political contacts. Positions are offered on an honorary basis to people of good standing and reputable character. Representatives are not salaried, however foreign representatives are sometimes included in formal functions and have occasions to personally assist in the development of legislation, treaties foreign policy and other matters in relation to other states and the international community.
Who can be a representative?
The Kingdom has representatives of many nationalities including German, Portuguese, Israeli, Hawaiian, Brazilian, Bulgarian, Belgian, Australian, New Zealander, British and Marshallese. It does not matter what nationality you are, as long as you agree to adhere to a certain set of principles when working on behalf of the government of EnenKio.
Typically, the basic requirements are as follows:
Interest in international politics Good knowledge of the country where you live No criminal record (excludes minor or traffic offenses) No outstanding unsatisfied court judgments You must be over the age of 21 Access to a telephone and a fax machine Access to a computer linked to the internet Effective communicator Professional personal presentation Where does EnenKio need representatives?
The Government requires representatives in just about every country in the world. In places where the Ministry has representatives, there is a chance for interested applicants to work with the current Diplomatic Representatives or Trade Offices in those locations. Just because we have a representative in your city or town does not mean that we are not interested in your ideas, assistance and input.
Can I make money by being a representative?
As a general rule it is not possible to make money being a diplomatic representative of EnenKio. The Government does not sell passports and only charges a nominal fee for travel documents or other official documents issued. This fee is just enough to cover the cost of handling, processing, printing and production.
The income of the government is not to be derived from taxes levied upon its citizens, but from licensing of and participating in profitable ventures, making investments in bonds and developing assets and technology, as any prudent private company should.
Being a representative may allow you meet people and establish international contacts that may be useful in your regular business or profession. The Government does make available a small fund for overseas representatives of EnenKio for emergency expenses and general out-of-pocket expenses, however this is very limited and in great demand. This money comes from revenues generated by processing fees, document certification fees and a special fund given to the Ministry by the Treasury or support groups like Kio Royale. This fund is usually for emergency use only as it is quite limited.
Does the Government sell Passports?
The Government does not sell passports and does not supply them to people who are not citizens of the Kingdom of EnenKio. The Government does make available a certain amount of passports to stateless refugees free of charge. Typically, residents of Eneen-Kio Atoll and other Marshall Islands or atolls, Marshallese natives or naturalized citizens of the Kingdom of EnenKio are entitled to a passport.
How do I apply?
Download application forms from the Internet document page, complete applicable sections and send to the Passport Processing Center in Honolulu, Hawaiian Islands, or to any consulate or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). Remember to include copies of your current passport or other certified identification or personal documentation, passport type photos, CV with references and a letter of intent indicating what, when and how you propose to represent EnenKio in your country or where you live. For assistance, contact the nearest EnenKio Consulate, Trade Delegation Representative or MoFA.
After I apply, what then?
The Ministry undertakes a period of research in which your application is investigated and information checked. It is more than likely that the Ministry will contact you and ask you some more questions and attempt to clarify things with you before it makes any final decisions. Once you are approved, the Ministry contacts you and sends out an information pack on EnenKio and any other relevant information. You will be provided with a regular bulletin by fax or email. The Ministry will then make contact with the Government of the country where you are located and inform them of your position and arrange a meeting between yourself and their Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if desired. Some representatives prefer to negotiate for a period prior to official contact of their government by EnenKio. This is the concluding step in the appointment process.
How long does it take to get approved?
Anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks, depending on several factors, such as the workload of the Ministry, printing schedules and time of the year.
Is there a cost involved?
Yes. You would be required to meet the same standards as a naturalized citizen, however, you would not become naturalized unless you specifically request citizenship. The same fees would apply. As you would be working on an honorary basis, without salary from the Ministry, the Ministry will supply you with some of the things you need to work for the Ministry. Once approved you would receive diplomatic documents -- a passport if you choose citizenship -- and other documents for a small processing fee. Any costs incurred in the performance of official duties in your capacity as a representative may be subject to reimbursement after solvency of the Kingdom and upon request. Until 2002, these services were provided for free, but we encountered gross misuse and never heard from many of our "new" representatives. Please understand, these documents are valuable and may open many doors for you, therefore, we have now instituted a policy of charging user fees.
Will my country give me privileges as a representative?
The Kingdom of EnenKio would accord you all rights privileges normally applicable to diplomatic representatives under the Law of Nations and applicable international law, for example the UN conventions on consular and diplomatic relations between states, but EnenKio as an independent state cannot force your country or any other state to do likewise

regarding EnenKio's right to issue passports.
What can I hope to accomplish as a representative?
To accomplish those ends, we must make our case, not only on the basis of tangible evidence of genocide by the US, but on appeal to all States, and Peoples concerned about proliferation of US conventional weapons testing programs and secret nuclear experimentation in this remote region of the North Pacific Ocean. Upon closer examination of the activity of the US Army, and possibly UN forces, one can get little information, but of more concern, there is essentially no oversight of activities by world media or the American people.
